The Essence of the Fruits

Each fruit has its own shape, color, surface texture, smell and taste. All these qualities shape their individual character, which I have tried to bring out in my series of these fruit portraits. As I peel the fruits and slice them, I try to look inside to find out about their secrets and their souls, which are hidden behind the sturdy shells.
